Oregon, the best place to raise a child
My priority is to support the working families of our community and across Oregon. I believe when we provide our children with quality childcare and educational opportunities, safe and inclusive schools and solid economic opportunities for their futures, we enable families to thrive. These investments provide a better educated and trained local workforce to sustain and grow Oregon businesses of all sizes – now and far into the future. But more importantly, we lift and keep people out of poverty, have better health outcomes and reduce violence and crime. This will make our state the best place to not only be a kid but for all Oregonians.
